The 4RS-1 is a 4-outlet universal power expansion module. It can be used with any of the TrolMaster “plug-in” device modules to expand the number of devices that can be controlled by the Hydro-x. A single 120-240 volt “trigger” wire on the 4RS-1 plugs into your device/control module. When the Hydro-x triggers the device module, the 4RS-1’s trigger wire will turn on each of the 4RS-1’s 4 receptacles with a 3 second delay between each outlet being activated. This minimizes inrush (inrush current) and allows for safe control of up to 4 devices. The 4RS-1 must be installed with a 120/240 volt power circuit (up to 50 amps at 240 volts). Three wire terminals inside the unit accept up to #6 AWG wire making connections to the power supply easy.
