TrolMaster’s Hydro-x system can control most supplemental lighting fixtures sold today. Most lighting manufacturers offer the ability to control their lighting systems using what is known as low voltage control. That low voltage control can take many forms and communication protocols. TrolMaster makes several types of lighting adapters (LMA units) that allow the Hydro-x to control lights using the low voltage control option.

The LMA-T is designed specifically for ThinkGrow LED systems, providing dual channel control, allowing for separate control of the full spectrum and secondary red output levels on ThinkGrow LEDs.

The LMA-T simply plugs into the Line 1 and Line 2 lighting control ports on the HCS-1. Once connected, the user can set individual on/off times and dimming settings for both the full spectrum LEDs and the secondary red LEDs.

The LMA-T is then connected to RJ-type lighting control cables, where each of the LEDs is connected back to the controller in a daisy chain configuration, using plug-and-play connections.

One adapter could drive up to 256 ThinkGrow LEDs.
