Aphidalia contains the generalist predator Adalia bipunctata, a ladybird that preys on aphids. The larvae of the ladybird have a greater predatory capacity than the adult.

Aphidalia is recommended as a corrective measure when aphid attacks increase and colonies form. It is recommended to combine its use with other parasitoids and predators. The adult ladybirds and larvae eat the aphids entirely.

How does Aphidalia work?

The adult ladybirds and larvae eat the aphids entirely. The eggs are laid in the aphid colonies. After emerging, the larvae search for aphids. No reproduction is expected.
