The Solux Electronic Ballast is a microprocessor-controlled ballast that maintains the lamp’s lumen level for longer than traditional ballasts. Why choose electronic ballasts instead of traditional electromagnetic ballasts?

• Fast start-up. It reaches its maximum power in less than a minute, whereas electromagnetic ballasts take up to 20 minutes to be at full capacity.
• Completely silent. You have to be very close to the ballast to hear a very weak sound.
• Compact and small design. A 600 ballast weighs less than 4 kilos compared to the 8 kilos of the electromagnetic ballast.
• It produces less heat.
• Safety circuit. To protect the ballast and the lamp from any damage.
• Extends the life of the lamp. The loss of lumens of the lamp over time is drastically lower than that of a conventional ballast.
