Eazy Plugs is a substrate designed for professional use, which has been spectacularly adopted by small-scale growers for its performance and environmental friendliness, to the detriment of rock wool.
They are pre-formed and stabilised organic blocks, composed of peat and a natural binding compound that maintains the structure throughout the germination or rooting process of cuttings, finally degrading once the transplant is carried out to another container. It provides the plants with the optimal air/water ratio for root development and initial growth.
They are organic and guarantee sufficient water retention even in the driest conditions and their internal porous structure stimulates the rapid formation of roots within. They are served in dehydrated form, which gives the product a series of advantages over other hydrated blocks, such as:
- Drastic reduction in the weight of the blocks
- Almost unlimited life
- No fungi are generated
- Rapid water absorption in less than a minute
