Biochar is charcoal that is made from renewable carbon-based resources (i.e. biomass) such as crops, wood, yard waste, and manure. This biomass stimulates the activity of a wide variety of agriculturally important microorganisms in the soil. It improves the physical characteristics of the soil, such as its structure, facilitating better root distribution, aeration, and the reproduction of beneficial fungi and bacteria.
Characteristics
Biochar has proven to be an extremely beneficial amendment for plant and soil health. Biochar also plays a role in climate change mitigation. It is recommended to apply together with nitrogen-rich amendments such as Blood Meal or Fish Meal.

Application and dosage
The most common way of incorporating it is by applying it directly to the ground, and it is advisable to carry out a superficial burying task. To maximise results, apply Kraken and Pandora after 3 days.
Fruit trees: Apply 15 to 30 grams in each planting hole before transplanting and mix well with the soil. For established plantings, apply 450 grams per 2.5 cm of trunk diameter, spread over the root zone of influence and water well.
Orchards and small gardens: Apply 1 to 2 cm over the entire growing area and incorporate with other amendments 10 to 15 cm deep. Water thoroughly.
Outdoor and indoor containers: Apply 5 to 10% Biochar to the container substrate mix.
