BN-ZYM is a natural biocatalyst (reaction accelerator) that improves the culture medium based on enzymes. Enzymes stimulate the water retention capacity of the medium and decrease the surface tension of water, allowing faster and better penetration of water into the medium. By penetrating the medium, it also brings oxygen into it.

Enzymes are protein molecules specialized in the catalysis (acceleration) of various biochemical processes. One of the qualities of enzymes is the way they work and how quickly they act. For example, the conversion of sugar into alcohol by chemical methods would normally take weeks or months, but due to enzymes this happens in seconds. The enzymes do not generate waste or by-products during their action.

BN-ZYM brings about increased bacterial activity which converts nutrients and minerals from the substrate into nutrients that can be directly absorbed by the cultivated plant. BN-ZYM catalyzes the processing of the waste and returns it to the crop in the form of absorbable nutrients.

The result is a balanced crop and less susceptibility to pests and diseases. In addition, the medium remains clean and free of all excess components. This is important for all crops, but especially for those grown in reused soil or coco.
