Special lamps for high frequency electronic ballasts such as the Colossus. These lamps can be used in some Sun System luminaires, Sun System reflectors and some Gavita reflectors and luminaires.

Their connection is double-ended and their nomenclature means Double Ended. The lamp has a terminal cable on each side, eliminating the need for a structure inside to support the cable. The absence of this structure eliminates shadows in the emitted beam. For horizontal use only.

The cover of these lamps is made of quartz glass, so it should not be touched directly with your hands as the grease can damage the lamp.
