Heater to regulate the temperature of the water in the nutrient solution tank. It is submersible and can be placed either horizontally or vertically.

We use the heater because a cold water supply can cause stress to the plant, slowing down its metabolism. And if the water is warmer than it should be, it could cause slow growth and a lack of oxygen, and could even lead to infection by pathogens.

The ideal temperature is between 18 and 24 ºC.

For proper operation and durability of the heater, unplug it 15 minutes before changing the nutrient solution.
