The water heater is a tool that allows you to optimize irrigation water tanks with the right temperature to water plants.

In winter and in cold areas especially, the water in the tank can reach extremely cold temperatures for plants. When we water with this cold water, we cause great stress to the plant, slowing down its metabolism.

At what temperature should we have the water heater?

The ideal temperature in a tank should be between 18 and 24 ºC. A lower temperature will cause stress and slow growth and a higher than recommended temperature will cause oxygen depletion in the nutrient solution and, in extreme cases, infection by pathogens.

Note on the use of the water heater

Disconnect the heater 15 minutes before changing the nutrient solution for a longer life of the equipment.
