Tips for use

The higher the filter is positioned, the more effective it will be. The air in the greenhouse is warmed up. This air has more energy and is loaded with more organic molecules. Warmer air needs to be drawn out of the greenhouse to maintain the proper temperature.

Be sure to keep the pre-filter clean. Dust and large particles can cause physical blockage of the carbon. The pre-filter protects the inside of the filter where the carbon is and needs to be washed every 3-4 months.

Monitor humidity and keep it below 82%. Carbon filters become inactive at high humidity levels. This is because moisture creates a film inside the porous cavities of the carbon and prevents organic molecules from coming into contact with the carbon.
