The TrolMaster Carbon-X system provides critical monitoring of CO2 levels in up to 13 separate zones or rooms. The system can have both high level (up to 30,000 ppm) and low level (5,000 ppm) alerts. Both high and low level limits are user adjustable to meet local regulations regarding the use of supplemental CO2 indoors.
The Carbon-X system can also control various devices such as fans, dampers, main CO2 valves, as well as send a signal to the fire department via an interface to the facility’s fire/alarm panel. Automatic CO2 shut-off is achieved by connecting the facility’s main CO2 solenoid in series with one of the system’s control modules. Settings for each of the devices connected to the system can be selected by the user for easy customization.
Each room monitored by Carbon-X will also require an audio-visual alarm to alert staff of the level of CO2 in the area, and whether or not the area is safe to occupy.
The TrolMaster app can be used to remotely monitor the Carbon-X, as well as receive alerts/notifications from the user in the event that elevated levels of CO2 are detected.
The CDA-1 is the brains of the system.
