A perennial plant that is very resistant to cold. Its leaves are thin, elongated and tubular. They are hollow inside and measure about 20 cm in height. It also has stimulating, diuretic and antiseptic properties, and a high content of vitamin C. When the leaves are cut, they are used to flavour sauces, salads, pastas, etc.

Its sowing and flowering period is all year round.
