Both systems work by using air to draw nutrient solution from the reservoir and drip it back through the clay pebble substrate and onto the roots. This simple and reliable design is incredibly effective at delivering a perfectly oxygenated nutrient solution to plants – exactly what is needed for optimal growth and flowering – and the two-part construction offers easy access to the reservoir and root, which can be difficult or impossible in many systems.
