Dolomite is a mineral amendment of natural origin, whose main component is double calcium and magnesium carbonate. 

Its basic nature combats acidity and maintains the soil pH at the desired level, establishing a more favorable environment for crop development and microbial activity. Its use stabilizes the pH range around 6.5, which is when most nutrients are most available. This accelerates the decomposition of organic matter and the release of nutrients, improving soil structure. It also improves the harvest due to the synthesis of sugars, intensifies growth and provides greater resistance to drought, frost, insects or diseases.

Magnesium is the main component of chlorophyll, its deficiency harms crops and the health of animals that graze on land with low magnesium content.
