En-strip 3000 (Encarsia formosa),is a parasitic wasp that lays an egg in the whitefly larva, later emerging as a new parasitic wasp.
Once applied to the crop, the adult wasp (female) parasitizes the whitefly larva and feeds on it. The first parasitized pupae can be seen in the crop after 2 weeks. The parasitized whitefly pupa turns dark brown or black, depending on the species. At the end of the process, a new adult wasp will emerge from the pupa through a round hole, which will look for new whitefly larvae to parasitize. It is presented in the form of cards to hang on the plants. The 3000 pupae are distributed in 50 cards.
