Entonem are nematodes that actively seek out soil fly larvae (sciarid fly or fungus gnat), as well as pupae and larvae of thrips in the soil and substrate. These penetrate through the anal orifices, perforate the intestinal wall of the larva and cause the death of the larva. The nematodes reproduce in the larvae until they disintegrate. If the yellow traps indicate a significant infestation, repeat the Entonem treatment after 3 weeks. The yellow adhesive traps should be placed on the lower part of the plants, close to the soil. After application, the fly larvae die within a few days, but for long-lasting control, a combination of Steinernema and the release of the predatory mite Stratiolaelaps scimitus is recommended.

Entonem is applied by irrigation as a curative means when the infestation is observed. It can also be applied by spraying the substrate/soil mixed with plenty of water. It is recommended to apply it together with Ref#802016 and keep the substrate moist in the days following application.

How to use

• Take the container out of the refrigerator within half an hour so that it is at a temperature of 20ºC.
• Cut the contents of the sachet and place the smaller pieces in a bucket with five liters of water between 15 and 20ºC.
• Let the solution rest for about five minutes.
• Stir until all the mist has disappeared and put it in the spray tank.
• Use the solution immediately.

Different forms of application
