Horsetail by Neudorff is a product made from plant extracts of Equisetum Arvense L (Horsetail), it is approved for use in Organic Farming and is recognized in the EC under the Basic Substances regulations with fungicidal effect.
Treatment for fungi such as Oidium and Mildew.
Product characteristics
Curative:
- Action by contact. Cell wall rupture of pathogens.
- Interrupts sporulation.
Preventive effects:
- Provides structural stability to plant cells by increasing mechanical resistance to fungal penetration.
- Triggers physiological defense responses.
How to use
- Start foliar application when conditions are favorable for disease development (depending on whether the crop is indoor or outdoor).
Indoor under controlled conditions: Every 7 days from the first symptoms of powdery mildew (4 ml/L).
Indoor under normal conditions: every 5 days dose 5-6ml/L.
Outdoor: Every 7-10 days. Maximum dose (6ml/L) in the first application, then two applications at a medium dose of 4ml/L and the last 3 minimum doses of 3ml/L.
- To maximize the effectiveness of the product, it is advisable to adjust the dose to the pressure of the pathogen.
- Continue the treatment until the conditions lead to rapid spread.
- Ensure good leaf coverage to establish direct contact of the product with the pathogen.
- Ensure agitation during mixing.
- It can be applied the day before the harvest of the buds, preventing post-harvest and storage diseases.
- Apply at the beginning of sprouting and at the first sign of inflorescences.
- Mixes with silicon can be recommended to improve its performance.
