To get sweet-smelling plants you need to provide a stimulant so that your plants have more energy when they need it most. This requires giving them carbohydrates. 

During the flowering cycle your plants need more sugars than they are capable of producing. The more we push the plants and the more CO2 and nutrients we give them, the more they need these carbohydrates, which can lead to a deficit. 

But not all carbohydrates are suitable, a special formula is required for them to be properly assimilated. 

A good carbohydrate formulation allows for explosive flowering, while feeding the beneficial bacteria and fungi found in the roots, causing the root system to grow.  This in turn will allow more nutrients to be absorbed, boosting flower size. 

Benefits of Using Amino Acids in the Right Form

Amino acids are crucial for the proteins that fuel the metabolic processes and structure of the flowering plant. Most hydroponic formulations with amino acids provide them in the D-amino form. 

This form is the cheapest to obtain and manufacture, but is not useful to the plant. The L-form of amino acids is fully available for rapid absorption and protein formation to immediately improve the health and yield of your crop.
