The Cali Connection created this strain by crossing their Pre-98 Bubba with the Original Sour Diesel clone, in order to obtain a purple plant with an extreme diesel flavour. They took the original Sour Diesel clone and crossed it with their Pre-98 Bubba to obtain its purple colour and combine it with the diesel flavour.

This version has a flowering period of around 9 weeks and offers yields considered to be medium-high.
