Shogun is descended from two very different strains. Our breeders selected Amnesia Haze as the parent strain due to its high THC content, high yields and sativa dominance. This energetic strain is descended from the Original Amnesia Haze and contains medium levels of CBD. Shogun also contains Royal Gorilla genetics. This ultra-potent beast produces 25% THC and has a perfectly balanced genetic profile between indica and sativa genes. It is derived from a trio of legendary strains: Sour Dubb, Chem Sis and Chocolate Diesel. Shogun offers a balance between the traits of these two strains. Her sativa dominance is inherited from Amnesia Haze, while her high THC content comes from both parent strains.

Shogun is named after ancient Japanese warriors, who were the embodiment of focus and unbridled power. The cognitive effects of this strain are like a whetstone against a samurai sword. The stimulating effects increase focus and concentration, and allow the user to work for long periods of time. This strain produces a zen-like state of satisfaction.

GROWING SHOGUN

Shogun is relatively easy to grow and is a suitable photoperiod strain for beginners. It tolerates variable conditions and grows well both indoors and outdoors. It does require a lot of nutrients, but this effort will be worth it. In indoor cultivation, you can expect good yields of up to 600g/m² after a flowering phase of 9–11 weeks. Outdoors, it can yield up to 750g/plant.
