Coir is the ideal growing medium for organic and hydro-organic applications. Coco coir allows for increased populations of beneficial fungi and bacteria, oxygen-loving organisms, and higher levels of atmospheric oxygen around the root zone. 

This increased population of soil microorganisms plays a major role in increased yields by breaking down organic and mineral matter, making it available to plants.

Coir is produced from renewable and ecologically responsible sources unlike other popular growing media such as peat-based substrates.
