What is a check valve?

This type of check valve is very commonly used in all types of sectors, especially in agriculture and livestock or in the conduction of drinking water. For a 1″ (25mm) pipe, this type of non-return valve is recommended.

How does the check valve work in the irrigation system?

It is located at the end of a hose or at the outlets of an irrigation pipe that has a suction pump. At this outlet point, a shower head with the check valve is placed, thus achieving a unidirectional flow and the liquid has no return capacity.
