Aphiscout is a preventative method or for use in the early stages of an aphid infestation. It can also be used when the pest species is unknown. The colour of a parasitised aphid indicates which species of parasite is effective under the indicated conditions.

For greater effectiveness, use the specific parasite in large quantities.

Aphiscout contains a mixture of 5 parasitic wasps: Aphidius colemani, Aphidius ervi, Aphelimus abdominalis, Praon volucre and Ephedrus cerasicola, which control populations of different species of aphids.

Adult female wasps parasitise aphids from which a new generation of parasitic wasps emerge in search of new prey. It comes in a 90 ml bottle with a mix of 250 mummies.

How to use

• Remove the top layer of the label from the top right-hand side
• Hang the bottle on a branch or stem, wrapping the label around the bottle
• Turn the cap until the small holes are in line with the opening
• You can use the fold-out label to indicate where the product has been introduced
• The optimum temperature for use is between 16 and 30 ºC

Beneficial biological organisms have a very short life cycle, so we should use them in our crops as soon as possible. If you want to store it, you must follow the storage instructions to prevent the product from losing quality and effectiveness:

• Shelf life: 1 or 2 days.
• Store at a temperature of 8-10ºC and in a dark place.
