Clones

Elite 91 Clones is a liquid rooting compound that combines 2 root-inducing hormones, ideal for professional plant propagators. It comes in liquid form for a more even distribution and absorption of the root-inducing hormones, being absorbed directly by the tissue of the cutting and immediately activating root development. Clones does not need to be diluted, rinsed or cleaned. It is easy to use, as it can be dosed directly from the bottle. Clones is extremely potent and effective, with just a 5 second dip in the compound the roots will be ready to reproduce and strengthen themselves. 

Instructions for use

1. Ready to use. No dilution necessary. Pour a small amount of Clones into a small, clean container.
2. Using a clean, sanitized scalpel, razor, or scissors, cut a cutting from a healthy, disease-free mother plant directly below the node at a 45-degree angle. Remove any large leaves or cut them in half to prevent water loss through transpiration. The cutting is then less likely to wilt. (OPTIONAL: GROWER TIP – Very gently scrape or shave the epidermal layer off the stem of the cutting about 1 inch (2.5 cm) high, all the way around, exposing the cambium (light green) layer of the cutting stem. This is the optimal method to trigger and focus the cutting’s response to form healthy adventitious roots along the base.)
3. Immediately dip the stem of the cutting into Clones to the optimal rooting depth for at least 5 seconds. (OPTIMUM – 1.25-2.50 cm tall from the base for 5-20 seconds for softwood plants and 10-30 seconds for hardwood plants.)
4. Insert the plant cutting into a moist growing medium of your choice. (OPTIMUM- Use a plant propagation kit with a clear humidity dome, maintaining an ideal environment with temperatures ranging from 22-25ºC and high humidity of 80 percent or higher with good air circulation and lighting.) GROWER TIP – In conjunction with taking cuttings, soak your preferred choice of growing medium using a light-based nutrient solution and Ref#7001410 at 1 – 10 ml per 10 gallons of water to protect, stimulate and enhance vitality.
