Parasitic wasp whose adult female kills the leaf miner larva in the gallery and lays an egg on it (it is parasitic at all larval stages). The egg develops into an adult wasp inside the gallery (but outside the leaf miner), using the dead larva as food. The adult can also feed on the host. The parasitic wasp reproduces at high speed. By releasing very few individuals, a high level of control can be achieved, normally until the end of the crop.
