Pro-Silicate™ is a highly beneficial plant nutrient found in virtually all soils but not –until now- in hydroponic/aeroponic nutrient solutions. Silicon strengthens cell walls and produces stronger, healthier plants with very dense root systems and increased resistance to pests and diseases.

It should be added as a separate component every time a new feed is prepared.

Pro-Silicate™ plays an important role in the absorption and vascular transport of mineral nutrients and can greatly improve plant mechanical strength and resistance to fungal diseases. The use of Pro-Silicate™ in nutrient solutions can significantly reduce the incidence and severity of fungal diseases such as Botrytis and Powdery Mildew.

Recent research has shown that the application of silicon in solutions results in denser, whiter and healthier root systems and increased yields.
