How is the Special Mix Coco substrate produced?

The woody part of the mature, brown husk is used for this substrate for optimum quality and substrate stability. The fibres are washed to remove excess EC, neutralised to remove potassium and then sifted into fine fibres.

The entire process is carried out in an environmentally friendly manner under the supervision of RHP.
