The Gold Label substrate, Special Mix Coco, is made from coconut fibre.

How is the Special Mix Coco substrate produced?

The woody part of the mature, brown husk is used for this substrate for optimum quality and substrate stability. The fibres are washed to remove excess EC, neutralised to remove potassium and then sifted into fine fibres.

The entire process is carried out in an environmentally friendly manner under the supervision of RHP.

What does it mean that Special Mix Coco substrate is RHP certified?

The RHP quality seal is the Dutch RHP standard for horticultural substrates that ensures strict quality control that will give you extraordinary results.

Can Special Mix Coco substrate be reused?

Suitable for use with organic and mineral fertilisers. It is an organic and recyclable substrate that, due to its lightness, facilitates handling and processing.
